Offsite Backup is a must have service for companies who takes themselves seriously and considers their business important.
The service we provide is fully secure. We use 128 bit Two-fish encryption, tunneled via a secure socket layer (SSL over http).
Data that you want to backup is compressed and then encrypted on your own computer network, and only then it is uploaded to our backup server which is located in a secure first class data center.
Even though the data in the data center is considered 100% safe, (we use raid 5 storage devices with multiple failover alerts), we still go a step further and replicate the data to another data center, which is also completely secure, and with redundant raid 5 storage array.

| Traditional backup systems make use of tapes in order to store sensitive data
and them have a service that takes those tape offsite. At least in theory that is what is suppose to happen.
In reality, because the backup process is manual, it is prone to many mistakes and calamities. Any IT engineer who
has been backing up for some time now, would have experienced tapes not working, either because they are too old
or because they were exposed to magnets (even cellular phones can damage tapes). This is the main reason why we chose
NOT to use tapes in our backup software. A client program is installed on your computer, running any popular windows version,
MAC OSX, or Linux (multiple flavors). Through an easy to use interface you pick which files & folders to include or exclude
in the backup, set the schedule (from once every minute to once a day, week or month), and then you can forget about it.
Once the schedules time has reached the software will look at what needs to be backed up, determine if anything has changes, and then
proceed to compress those changes, then encrypt the data using a 128 Bit Two-Fish encryption, and only then upload the data to the
secure offsite server. By encrypting the data on your computer, we eliminate the need for us to have the encryption key.
Since we don't have access to the encryption key, and only you know about it, you must take care of the encryption key and write it down
in a secure/safe location. If you lose the encryption key it cannot be recovered. Once the data reaches our main offsite backup server, it
is immediately replicated to a second secure location. Hence disk (your HDD) to disk (our main backup server) to disk (our replication server).

| Should you ever be in a disaster recovery scenario, you can use our web based restore or the software agent restore
facility. If you have a large amount of data that needs to be restored, we can ship you a portable HDD with your data. We offer other solutions for
if you want to backup the whole server, including the OS, in an image file. Contact one of our pre-sales engineers and let them know your requirements.

| Pricing |
It is important to backup your data, but if the cost of doing so is too expensive than
one would think twice before using an offsite backup service, or one would try and cut corners. Since we strongly believe
that every business should do a backup, our pricing strcutre is very affordable. The business model is based on storage.
The more data you backup the less you are going to pay per Gb. For example, to backup a desktop with 20Gb of data (compressed data) will
cost only $19.95 per month. If you want to backup a SQL database or an exchange store you need to add $4.95 per month
for the server agent. We recommend all client to contact us with their requirements so we can customize the best solution
for your needs. As mentioned above prices are based on per Gb and can vary from $0.50 to $2.00. All depending on your required disk space
and additional services.
